Two work horses flank a bald eagle atop a golden shield. Below, a red ribbon proclaims the state motto, "Virtue, Liberty and Independence." The coat of arms of Pennsylvania dates back to 1778, but it's place on a field of "Old Glory Blue" wasn't made official until 1904.
The detail on this flag is cut from 1/4" plywood and affixed in layers, creating a beautiful 3D effect.
